Langtang Helicopter Trek

Langtang Helicopter Trek

Overview And Highlights

Langtang is the third most popular trekking destinations in Nepal. However, it offers more scenic, wild and less intervened region to explore. This trek can be completed in 7 to 10 day timeframe which is its comparative advantage as compare to other most popular treks. The breathtaking 360 degree view from Kyanjing gives you a memory that lasts forever. Mountains like Langtang Lirung, Gang Chhenpo, Naya Kanga, Dorje, Langsisa Ri, Lhakpa Ri, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, Gourisankar are major attractions of this trek.

Just like other Helicopter trek programs, it also follows the same normal trekking itinerary. We will send Helicopter at Kyanjing Gomba after you complete exploration. Langtang Helicopter Trek gives you opportunity to skip descending back on the same track after you reach the highest altitude. Helicopter comes to pick you up at your desired time. It takes about 30 minutes to return back to Kathmandu from Kyanjing by Helicopter.

Best Months/Seasons: March April and May in Spring season and September, October and November in Autumn season

Once there was a Tibetan resettlement project here, but now it is a Nepalese army post though it has no permanent inhabitants. The trail continues to climb gently and the valley widens, passing a few temporary settlements used by herders who bring their livestock to graze in the high pastures during the summer months.
